Please see the below message from the OCSB regarding changes to our Back to School Plan:

This message is also available on our Board website.

Dear OCSB Families,

We have made changes to our Back to School Plan in keeping with the Ministry of Education's updated guidelines. The most significant changes are highlighted on our website. They include:

  • Staggered entry dates for when each grade starts school

  • Changes to elementary distance learning (kindergarten to grade 8)

  • An updated adapted model for in-person high school (grades 9 to 12)

There is still time to change your mind about in-person or online learning

Most OCSB parents have decided to send their children back to school for in-person learning. The good news is this is a family decision, and we are here to support your child, whether that is distance learning or in-person learning. We recognize that parents made the best decision they could based on the information they had at the time. If you would like to change your previous selection, please complete this Change of Preference Form by August 21. If no changes are required, you do not have to fill out the form.
